Monday February 3, after being eliminated by Costa Rica https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-29911-icihaiti-eliminatory-olympics-tokyo-2020-end-of-the-dream-of-our-grenadieres.html in the last eliminatory phase of the Tokyo 202 Olympic Games, our senior Grenadières faced Panama on the lawn of the BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas (USA).

A match where our Grenadières crushed the Panamanians without appeal.

In the first period Nérilia Mondésir alias "NériGol" at the 4 minute of play opened the scoring in favor of Haiti [1-0]. 7 minutes later Mikerline Saint-Félix broke the score at 11’ [2-0] and scored twice at 29’ [3-0]

At half-time the score was [3-0] in favor of Haiti.

Back from the locker room, facing Panamanian distraught, Melchie Daelle scored a 4th goal at 47 '[4-0], 10 minutes later at 57' Batcheba Louis scores [5-0] and "NériGol" scored twice at 84' [6-0], score unchanged at the end of regulation time.

With this victory our Grenadières take 3rd place in Group A and save the honor by avoiding being the last in the Group, after 2 consecutive defeats and 6 goals conceded: USA [4-0 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-29885-icihaiti-2020-olympic-qualifiers-the-usa-humiliates-our-grenadieres-%5b4-0%5d.html ] and Costa Rica [2-0] https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-29911-icihaiti-eliminatory-olympics-tokyo-2020-end-of-the-dream-of-our-grenadieres.html

Friday, after their defeat against the Americans [4-0], world champions hhttps://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-29885-icihaiti-2020-olympic-qualifiers-the-usa-humiliates-our-grenadieres-%5b4-0%5d.html our Grenadières faced at the BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas (USA), in the last phase of the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the "Ticas" of Costa Rica.

A delicate match for our girls who had no choice but to win or be eliminated. If the first period was tight enough and without a goal between our Grenadières and the "Tica" at half time [0-0], on the return from the locker room Raquel Rodriguez to change the game by opening the scoring on a head to the 57' in favor of Costa Rica [1-0] before scoring a double in 66' [2-0], a score which will remain unchanged at the end of the regular playing time

A second defeat in two games, 6 goals conceded none registered, marks the end of our Grenadières dream for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Before their return to the country, our Grenadières will face Panama on February 3 in a match without major issues, to avoid the last place in Group A.
